Eden Park Hunt

Every Cincinnatian knows how lovely Eden Park is and enjoys the beauty of its gardens and walks. But somewhere among all its beautiful flowers and trees, something else bloomed and blossomed. Yes, love. True love. The old fashioned kind of love that lasted a lifetime, in the best of times and in the worse of times, till death do us part love.

And to that love a humble tribute can be found somewhere in the park – should this be the hunt you select!

Start Point

Starting point for this treasure hunt starts right outside the front doors to the Krohn Conservatory.

Price

$20.00 / Group

Max # of People

7 people / Group

Time

45min – 1hr 15min

Location

950 Eden Park Dr, Cincinnati, OH 45202

You can park in the lot behind the Khron Conservatory or on the street in front of the Conservatory.

Bathrooms are available right inside the entry foyer to the Krohn Conservatory. No need to buy an entry ticket to use the bathroom inside the Conservatory.

Not very stroller/wheelchair friendly but doable. Most of the route is paved with just 2 clues taking you into lawn like grass. However, there is one large sets of stairs going up that is equivalent to walking up about 2 or 3 stories. Then there is another set of stairs going down also of about 2 stories. It is made of rough stone but does have a metal banister.

There is a McDonald's and Skyline nearby. Follow Victory Parkway (the street in front of the Krohn Conservatory) north under the Melan Arch Bridge, and around the curve past the Ohio River Overlook and you will see them shortly thereafter at the intersection with McMillan Ave.

The Mt. Adams Tavern is also open during the day for lunch. The Professor's favorite for lunch in the area however is the Terrace Cafe inside the Art Museum.

Parking is $4.00 but free if you spend $10.00 or more at the restaurant or $15.00 at the Gift Shop. Just show your receipt to the front desk in the lobby and they will stamp your parking stub.

Important Notes

  • There is a water fountain along the way about 2/3rds of the way through the hunt at Clue Quiz 11. However, I don’t recommend drinking from this fountain but instead to bring your own water bottles.
